Growing up, I was not the fittest or healthiest kid on the block. I played offensive line at my high school so for those of you who know football, offensive linemen are not the smallest of athletes. In fact, I weighed just over 265 lbs in my sophomore year. By junior year of high school, I was down 100 lbs and had felt like I gained a new sense of confidence when I returned the next year. From that point, I knew guiding others in health and fitness would be what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
For me, fitness is not just about reaching a physical fitness goal. It’s about developing your mind into being strong so that whatever obstacle you may face in life, you know you can overcome it
Mind and body, the two pillars that create a healthy person. Health is a multitude of variables, not just how you look. You mental health and confidence play a huge role. I saw how this was missing in the training industry and decided it was a needed combo for your best outcome.
